Memorial garden

We are currently building a memorial garden to remember the cats who we have cared for, loved & sadly lost.  While they remain with us always & are rembered in so many ways, it will be nice to have their names on the memorial wall & their ashes forever with us at the shelter. 

Below left is stage I - the mud mire , below middle is stage II, the mud mire with 17 bags of compost & ready for planting !  

It's taken a while, but hoping to plant within the next few week

Below is the front garden & first impression of the shelter.  Many thanks to those who wielded pick axes & suffered blisters & aching bodies to make this so lovely.
