Volunteers urgently needed 1/09/2010
The Wellington Cats Protection League runs a shelter in Kingston, Wellington where we care for and find new homes for the cats & kittens who come into our care.
As a not-for-profit charity, we rely on our volunteers to cover the morning and evening shifts, 7 days a week that it takes to keep our cats fed and the shelter cleaned.
Some volunteers come on a weekly basis, some fortnightly and the time that they give to the cats is greatly appreciated by the League.
The morning shifts involve feeding the cats, cleaning their cages and litter boxes and generally tidying up the shelter. And of course, there are large numbers of cats who need cuddling and loving while you're at it!
Afternoon shifts involve scooping out litter boxes, feeding & of course lots of cat patting.
