CareVets ‘N’ Pets Johnsonville and Porirua, CareVets Kapiti

We are delighted to have the CareVets clinics on board for our subsidised de-sexing programme. This programme is a major part of our advocacy of responsible cat ownership so the CareVets’ geographical reach from Johnsonville to Kapiti is invaluable to us.

Central Vet Hospital Wellington

Central Vet Hospital has been a mainstay provider of our veterinary care almost since we started. The care, support and advice from their vets means our shelter cats are kept in the best health possible, physically and emotionally, until they find their new forever homes.  They also provide care for some of our foster cats.

Crofton Downs Veterinary Clinic

The vets at Crofton Downs are helping us with subsidised care of some of our foster cats. These are “high needs” cats, either elderly or with ongoing health or behavioural problems, so we find them loving suitable homes and continue to pay for their veterinary care.

fotographica

Alicia photographs our cats for our website and Facebook page so we are never short of wonderful images to promote CPL. She also creates our stunning calendars which are a significant part of our fundraising activities.  Her two cats Asgard and Xerxes came from the shelter where she volunteers on a cleaning shift.

She designed our five fabulous greetings cards featuring shelter and ex-shelter cats, which you can buy on our Facebook page, and has designed other wonderful CPL promotional material. Helen also volunteers regularly at the shelter where she met her two cats Lexie and Gandalf.

Masterpet

We have over forty cats at the shelter to keep well fed and supplied with clean litter every day of the year, so we are grateful for Masterpet’s excellent discounts to help keep down the costs of this substantial part of our expenditure.

The PetVet clinics in Lower Hutt and Silverstream support our excellent de-sexing programme which enables those who fit certain criteria to receive subsidised de-sexing for their cat. They also give subsidised care for our foster cats in the Hutt Valley.
